Mark Humphreys · Founder
Mark Humphreys founded MHA Studio in 2024, drawing on more than 15 years’ experience across residential, commercial, mixed-use, education, cultural and heritage projects. He studied architecture at the University of Kent and The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL.
Mark spent 13 years at Hollaway, including four years as a Partner, leading projects through every stage, from early concept and planning to technical design and completion. His experience ranges from carefully considered alterations and one-off homes to complex developments, listed buildings and major regeneration projects.
This breadth of experience has reinforced a simple principle: good architecture begins with understanding. MHA takes time to listen to clients, users and the wider context before defining the real opportunities and challenges within a brief. This thoughtful, problem-solving approach brings together design quality, functionality, commercial awareness and deliverability to create places that are purposeful, distinctive and built around the people who use them.
